The perfect candidate is passionate about great content: reels, videos, photos and copy, and understands how to bring it all together to hit the right tone. The best bit? Social is always evolving, so you don’t need to have years of training or specific qualifications.

Who you are…

  • A creative self-starter with a passion for social media

  • Experienced in creating content for Instagram and TikTok

  • Genuinely engaged with current trends in social media including food and drink

  • Confidence to visit clients and engage with client teams

Must haves…

  • Experience running social media for business

  • A proven track record in growing followers and engagement on social media platforms

  • Social photography and video editing skills (iPhone - but other training is a bonus!)

  • Next-level writing and communications skills

  • Impeccable planning and organisation

  • Exceptional attention to detail

Nice to haves…

  • Experience working in hospitality

  • Training in Facebook Business Manager / Ads Manager

  • Experience engaging with bloggers and influencers

  • Experience using social media monitoring tools

  • Experience in a social media team or agency setting

  • Interest in photography, design and branding  

  • Full driving license

Job Description

You’ll support our account and creative directors in creating industry leading content. In the morning you might head straight to a client to talk strategy, record a menu tasting or interview series. In the afternoon you could be back in the office (or at home) scheduling content, creating Reels or developing a Social Media launch campaign alongside our PR and Events teams.

Above all, a Social Media Manager has an eye for engagement. You’ll be familiar with all the major platforms and the type of content that engages audiences to achieve results. You’ll enjoy developing relationships with influencers, restaurants, teams, businesses, and partners. We’ll ask you to attend client meetings, prepare regular social media reports and to pitch ideas, too.

A keen eye for presentation is paramount. You will have freedom to manage your own diary, so we’d love to hear about your experience in projects that have involved both creativity and organisation. Perhaps you’ve started a blog, planned a podcast, or created a video diary. Personal projects are as interesting to us as any professional qualifications. Show us what you can do!

This is a full time role, Monday-Friday based at our office on Station Road and client locations across Cambridge. Our standard office hours are 9-5 however you may be asked to work outside of these hours on occasion, including attending compulsory client calls and meetings. We believe in a flexible approach, and we encourage you to take this time back across the week.

Start and finish times can be agreed by the candidate and do not have to follow the 9-5 pattern.
